Are scientific observations more consistent with a young earth, or an old earth?
These days, lots of people believe there’s intelligent life somewhere ‘out there.’ After all, the universe is pretty huge. Yet, with all due respect to science fiction fans, there really isn’t any evidence to suggest that aliens exist.
Despite being written hundreds of years before He was born, the Old Testament contains numerous fulfilled predictions about the first coming of Jesus. Like Jesus said “Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms” (Luke 24:44).
While Muhammad was a sinner (Koran 40:55; Koran 47:19; Koran 48:2), the Koran says Jesus Christ is sinless (Koran 19:17-19). Since Jesus is without sin, He never lied. The Koran also says the Bible is the perfect revelation of Allah (Koran 3:3), and the words of Allah can never change or be corrupted (Koran 6:115). Considering Jesus never lied and the Bible is perfect and incorruptible, everything the Bible records Jesus saying is true. Well, the Bible records Jesus Christ saying “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). In other words, the only way to Heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ.
Although people make fun of “conspiracy theorists,” there really is a conspiracy out there, and the conspirator is Satan.
Jesus is God in the flesh (John 14:9-11), He literally rose from the dead (Romans 10:9-10) and salvation is received by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9). Although they may disagree over many things, different Christian denominations accept these essentials of the faith. On the other hand, cults of Christianity deny one or all of these beliefs, while claiming to be Christians.
Ultimately, the major beliefs of the New Age Movement line up with some of Satan’s oldest lies.
It’s one of life’s biggest questions, and there are lots of answers out there. How do you know which of them is true?
