Still, some individuals might ask “Don’t all religions really just teach the same thing?” That’d be a no. Indeed, Muslims believe in one God, Mormons believe in many gods and atheists claim there is no God. There can’t be one God, many gods and no God at the same time. Since these religions can’t all be true, they can’t all lead to God. Only one belief about God is true. Which one is it?
Overall, evolution is clearly a theory of history which requires a lot of faith. Why is it so popular? Simply put, people like it more than the alternative.
Indeed, if there is no God, what’s right and wrong is decided by human opinion. Anything goes. If I think it is right to steal your car, there’s nothing stopping me from taking it. You would call this unfair and wrong, but why would your opinion greater than mine? Why would your atoms be more ‘moral’ than mine? That’s intolerant!
