After being delivered from Egypt, the Israelites had to cross two bodies of water. They crossed the Red Sea, but they refused to cross the Jordan River. That generation died in the wilderness. 40 years later, a new generation had the same opportunity, to cross the Jordan and receive what God had promised. Some of them weren’t ready. Instead of crossing, they asked Moses if they could have the land they were staying in. Like the previous generation, they were prepared to obey God, but only to a point. They wanted to serve the Lord, as long as it was comfortable.
On one occasion, Jesus explained, “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.” He added, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?” For years, mainstream American culture has emphasized comfort and convenience. Many Americans would’ve done anything to preserve their cozy lifestyles. They never would’ve rocked the boat. They would’ve continued fence-sitting. They would’ve never left the comfort of the middle ground.
Fortunately, things have changed. The enemy has gone too far. In order to enjoy the system’s conveniences and creature comforts, Americans have been asked to surrender our freedom. There is no middle ground anymore. We’re in an all-or-nothing war for the soul of America. Either you support the satanic great reset or you’re a part of the new great awakening.
In the words of Patrick Henry: “Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death!” Defending liberty is more important than being comfortable; it’s more important than life. Indeed, God’s love is greater than life and nothing can separate us from His love. We stand firm in faith and we will have the victory. After all, rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.
