By the blood of Jesus, we overcome the enemy, revoking and removing Satan’s legal accusations against us in the courts of heaven. Revelation 12:10-11 explains:
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”
The blood of the lamb (1 John 1:7)
We have redemption through the blood of Jesus, we’re sanctified by the blood and our consciences have been cleansed by the blood. The blood of Jesus cleanses us of all sin. Indeed, “we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus.” In other words, we can boldly approach the Father to receive grace and mercy when we need it. Plead the blood of Jesus:
I cover myself with the blood of Jesus. I’m in agreement with the testimony of the blood of Jesus, speaking better things than the blood of Abel in heaven, that I’m saved, healed, delivered and blessed in every area in Christ.
The word of our testimony (1 John 5:4)
Our faith is the victory which has overcome the world. Faith turns the promises of God, spiritual realities, into physical realities. Jesus taught us to pray in the following way: Father, “Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Our faith is voice-activated. By faith, we declare Jesus is our Lord and are saved; by faith we speak forth the reality of heaven. Our circumstances may be really bad, but they’re irrelevant. We walk by faith and not by sight. Declare the spiritual reality out loud in faith and it’ll be manifested in our lives. Persevere in the face of adversity.
Not loving our lives when faced with death (1 John 4:16-19)
There is no fear in love; anyone that fears isn’t completely embracing the love of God. Idolatry is loving anything or anyone in this world more than you love God. Don’t let anything come between you and God. This includes family, friends, work or even your own life. Remain loyal to God no matter what. There’s no reason to fear death because Christ freed“those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.”Be bold, stand firm in faith and do everything in love.
