The Daniel 11:22 War
Russia’s economy isn’t in great shape. Russian’s incomes have fallen for five consecutive years and economists are predicting a sixth year of decline. The fall in incomes has caused consumer debt to skyrocket. The Russian economy continues to lag, with low levels of foreign investment. Sanctions imposed by the United States and the European Union may have something to do with that. Without question, lower oil prices aren’t helping matters. Russia is still heavily dependent on oil and gas exports. This may explain why Putin signed a bill that raised the retirement age for men and women, in spite of several protests against the measure nationwide. To make matters worse, Russia will apparently need to direct 2 trillion roubles from the National Wealth Fund to make up for shortfalls in revenues that come from the energy sector.
With Trump’s devastating sanctions on Iran and Russia’s slowing economy, the Assad regime’s biggest supporters aren’t in a position to help him out. Syria’s reconstruction can’t get off the ground without significant foreign investment. Where will the money come from to rebuild Syria? Assad is so desperate, he’s resorted to shaking down local businessmen, some of his strongest allies throughout the war. Even Syrian tycoon Rami Makhlouf, Assad’s cousin, complained, “security forces, in an inhumane way, are arresting our employees.” He added, “Mr. President, the security forces have started attacking people’s freedoms. These are your loyal supporters…The situation is dangerous and by God, if we continue, the situation of the country will be very difficult.”
No doubt, the post-war reconstruction of Syria will be the real cause of the Daniel 11:22 War. Sure, Russian and Iranian companies “have already secured some major contracts for reconstruction projects inside Syria.” Yet, although the Russians have military position, they don’t really have the capital to rebuild the war-torn country. Iran’s economy is a dumpster fire and it’s only going to get worse. The Americans have left. Turkey is dependent on Russia for its energy needs, so they can’t do anything without approval. Ultimately, that leaves the Gulf Arab states. Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council have the capital to rebuild Syria, a fellow Arab country, but would they work with Assad? It’s tough to say, but money talks. In any case, the Arabs and the Israelis are going to want a say in what happens in their neighborhood. If Russia tries to dominate post-war Syria, things will get ugly.
Sheep/Goat nations
A little while back, it was reported that Germans think President Trump is “more dangerous than Russian president Vladimir Putin, or Kim Jong-un and Xi Jinping.” To be fair, Trump is a bigger threat to the German’s current way of life, that is, living at the expense of the American taxpayer. For decades, we made the world safe for free and everybody hates us for it. Our middle class was gutted to finance European socialism and China’s manufacturing boom; some of our finest young men were sent halfway across the world to fight wars that weren’t in our national interest. President Trump was elected to put a stop to it. The United States is done being the world’s policeman, because we don’t need the world and we’re fed up with their ingratitude. We have everything we need and the world doesn’t like us anyway. Let them generate their own wealth; let them protect themselves.
With the United Kingdom gone, low birth rates and an America no longer willing to be taken advantage of, Europe is in serious trouble. The money is going to run out. Like it was before the US became the world’s policeman, wars for resources and territorial expansion are likely. Fearing exactly this outcome, Spiegel Online also noted, “The grand argument in favor of the EU back then was that it meant overcoming European animosities. Today, it is about maintaining the Continent as a center of liberal democracy.” In a world without Americans keeping the peace, European animosities will reemerge and liberal democracy will fade away.
Likewise, Russia will reassert itself in European affairs. Indeed, the Germans are already embracing Russia’s Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline. In early May, Reuters noted, “The Nord Stream 2 pipeline was designed by Moscow to increase gas supplies via the Baltic Sea to Germany, Russia’s biggest energy customer. Russia’s energy ministry said in December that the pipeline was expected to be launched before the end of 2020.” Of course, this pipeline will make Germany completely reliant on Russia for its energy needs. Will Germany become a client state of Russia? It looks that way.
Satanism
The European Union completely failed Italy during the Wuhan panic, which is one of many reasons the EU is in trouble. Indeed, Italian politician Matteo Salvini said, “This is a den of snakes and jackals. First we defeat the virus, then remember Europe. And, if necessary, we say goodbye.” He’s not alone. When the EU collapses, it’ll be the perfect time for the old imperial powers, the United Kingdom, France and Russia, to reassert their influence on the continent. Sensing this, many leaders within the Catholic Church are sounding the alarm.
For example, Jesuit Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich commented, “Let us do battle with the coronavirus and do battle with the virus of nationalism and selfishness.” He laughably claimed, “the European Union is an instrument for world peace.” Meanwhile, the Pope called for the EU to unite, saying, “It is urgent, especially in today’s circumstances, that these rivalries do not regain vigor but that all recognize themselves as part of a single family.”
Here’s the deal. The ten kingdoms described in Daniel and Revelation come out of Western Europe. This coalition is first controlled by Babylon the Great, likely London. Eventually, the Antichrist, who is the leader of Russia, will take control of this group. The table is being set for an epic battle of influence for the control of Europe.
On a related note, the False Prophet, the Antichrist’s sidekick, looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon. This means he comes in Christ’s name but speaks the words of Satan. He “performs great signs” which deceive people. He tells everyone to “make an image to the beast” and he then gives “breath to the image of the beast” so that the image itself can speak and kill those who don’t worship it. On top of that, the False Prophet makes people get “a mark on their right hand or on their forehead” so that “no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark.” The False Prophet isn’t just a religious figure; he’s very involved in the Antichrist’s Mark of the Beast financial system.
The world is in awe of the Antichrist. They’re afraid of him. They worship him, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” The False Prophet, on the other hand, is the smooth one. The Antichrist is a warlord from the East and the False Prophet makes him palatable to the ten kingdoms of the West.
London = Babylon the Great?
For years, knife crime has been on the rise in London and the United Kingdom in general. According to the Office for National Statistics, “crimes committed with knives have risen 49 per cent in less than a decade and is now at a historic high.” 2019 figures showed, “The number of homicides in London has hit a 10-year high and there has been a surge in knife and gang-related killings since 2014.” Although London is arguably the acid attack capital of the world and it’s dealing with a knife-crime epidemic, it’s a playground for the wealthy. According to research by The Institute for Fiscal Studies, “The richest 1% in Britain have become increasingly concentrated in London over the past two decades.” Well, Babylon the Great is going to be a wealthy city that’s completely debauched culturally. With violent crime on the rise, London appears to be headed in that direction.
That’s all for this week! Thanks for reading and Godspeed!
