The Daniel 11:22 War
Contrary to popular belief, the American withdrawal from Syria was the worst thing that could’ve happened to Russia. In a single moment, the United States gave Russia its biggest foreign policy headache since Afghanistan. For hundreds of years, the Iranians, the Turks and the Russians have been warring against each other in the Middle East and the Caucasus. With the US out of the picture, there’s no longer a common enemy for them to rally around. The truce is over. A few days ago, The Wall Street Journal published an article titled, “Battle for Syrian Town Pits Turkey Against Assad Regime.” In the article, it was reported that the Turks were “advancing on Tal Tamar in an apparent bid to expand the area under their control without Russian joint supervision.” This hasn’t been the only clash between Syrian forces and Turkish forces since the US pullback.
At some point, to protect its only Middle Eastern client state, Russia will have to attack Turkey. The Russians have all the leverage, considering they supply most of Turkey’s natural gas. That said, they just recently sold a missile system to Turkey and the Turks have embraced Russia’s TurkStream pipeline project. It’s an awkward situation, all courtesy of President Trump. Although he’ll probably never get credit for it, he has forced Russia to solve the bloody, expensive battle for influence in Syria. It won’t be an easy victory. When they win, what will Israel and the Arab states do?

Sheep/Goat nations
You can’t please everyone. Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is finding that out the hard way. Despite winning the Nobel peace prize for making peace with Eritrea, Ahmed has been dealing with violent protests on the home front. Reuters deduced that “Abiy must walk a delicate line between increasing political freedoms and reigning in strongmen building ethnic powerbases.” Unfortunately, Ethiopia’s tribalism could easily be exploited. Indeed, it appears the Antichrist will use a divide and conquer strategy to take control of Ethiopia.
For starters, Cush is listed as one of the participants in the Ezekiel 38 invasion. Cush is commonly associated with Ethiopia and some English translations of the Bible even substitute Ethiopia for Cush.* In other words, Ethiopia will join the Antichrist in invading Jerusalem. Although initially allies, the friendship won’t last. The Bible prophesies that the Antichrist conquers much of the Middle East, North Africa and parts of East Africa. He specifically conquers Ethiopia, according to Daniel 11:43. In the end, Ethiopia’s inability to unite will be its downfall.

Satanism
Recently, nine American women and children were murdered by Mexican drug cartels. Shortly after, it was revealed that the women had ties to the sex cult NXIVM, which illegally funneled money to Hillary Clinton’s campaign and conducted experiments on humans. Did their connection with NXIVM play a role in the murders? Given that NXIVM’s founder was convicted of sex trafficking and Mexico’s drug cartels are also into human trafficking, it’s possible. Of course, the cartels don’t just traffic people; they use them in satanic rituals. A few weeks ago, Mexican authorities found 42 human skulls “at an altar in a drug gang hideout.” Apparently, “The mound of skulls was piled around what appeared to be an altar of an Afro-Caribbean religion.” Cartel traffickers pray to their own set of saints, including Santa Muerte, the saint of death. These traffickers practice a combination of Santeria, African voodoo and ancient Aztec rites of human sacrifice. Unsurprisingly, many everyday Mexicans have embraced worship of Santa Muerte. Yes, the US needs a wall on its southern border.
London = Babylon the Great?
While London is dealing with a knife-crime epidemic, it’s also arguably the acid attack capital of the world. It has gotten so bad that a few weeks back, acid was thrown in a soldier’s face and he was cut with a knife. According to the Evening Standard, “Acid attacks have soared to record levels in London, with some of those injured under the age of 10.” Well, Babylon the Great is going to be completely debauched culturally. With violent crime on the rise, London appears to be headed in that direction.
