After the Antichrist’s successful invasion of Israel, the Lord will respond in epic fashion. Ezekiel 38:18 states “‘It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,’ declares the Lord God, ‘that My fury will mount up in My anger.'” The phrase “on that day” means God is talking about the Day of the Lord. There are several references to the Day of the Lord throughout the Old Testament, where it is called “the day of His burning anger“, “a day of vengeance“ and “the day of the Lord’s sacrifice“, among other things. The nations of the world will be judged, specifically for their violent persecution of Christians and Jews and their hatred of God. The trumpets and bowls of Revelation detail God’s wrath during the Day of the Lord. Ezekiel 38:19-22 also mentions some of the judgments during this period.
After the Day of the Lord, there will be no doubt in anyone’s minds, whether they like it or not. The Antichrist isn’t God. Satan isn’t God. The Lord is God. As He proclaimed in Ezekiel 38:23, “I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.” You know that’s right. 👍🙌🙌
