The Daniel 11:22 War
A little while back, Israel announced that its citizens would be able to travel to Saudi Arabia under certain circumstances. Generally, those circumstances would be “business meetings or to search for investments.” Although Saudi Arabia has to ease its restrictions for the change to take effect, which seems unlikely for now, Israel’s move is an indication of warmer ties between the two countries. Consequently, Israel and many of its Arab neighbors find themselves in a weird situation: unofficially they’re friends, but they don’t have official relations.
For example, it has been reported that Israel is working on a non-aggression pact with several Gulf states. The Times of Israel reported that the pact intended to “put an end to the state of conflict between the Gulf states and Israel, and reportedly provides for friendly relations, cooperation in a variety of fields, and no war or incitement against each other.” Last year, a top Saudi diplomat said, “For us the Saudis, as well as for all the Gulf states, Egypt and Jordan, it is clear that the age of war with Israel has ended and that normalizing relations will only benefit us.” Shortly afterward, Bahrain’s foreign minister publicly acknowledged that “we do believe that Israel is a country to stay, and we want better relations with it, and we want peace with it.” This emerging cooperation is significant, because Israel and the Gulf states will eventually join forces to attack the Antichrist in Syria, the Daniel 11:22 War.
Ezekiel 38:2 says the Antichrist will be the ethnically Slavic leader of Russia at the time of the end. Daniel 11:21 prophesies that he’ll intervene in Syria and become the country’s ruler or the power behind the throne. According to Daniel 11:22, Israel and many nations from the Middle East and North Africa will attack him. They will lose. Daniel 11:23 states that they will make a deal with the Antichrist. This is the seven-year agreement that officially begins the end times, prophesied in Daniel 9:27. The international recognition of Israel as a state is a key part of the Antichrist’s seven-year deal, because according to Daniel 9:27 it’s going to confirm an existing covenant. This is referring to the agreement God made with Abraham, the unconditional promise of the land of Israel to the Jewish people. So, the other nations that fight with Israel in the Daniel 11:22 War will be from the Middle East and North Africa. They haven’t officially recognized Israel, but they’re unofficially friends. We live in strange times.
Sheep/Goat nations
Apparently, Jordan is a little jealous of Israel’s natural gas success. Unlike Egypt, which is currently importing Israeli natural gas, Jordan’s parliament approved a ban Israeli gas imports back in January. That’s because, contrary to popular belief, Jordan is not a friend of Israel. Unfortunately, things aren’t going to change in the end times.
In Matthew 24, Jesus warned people living in Judea to flee when they see the Abomination of Desolation. The remnant of Israel will find refuge in the wilderness for three and a half years. This remnant is a reference to the 144,000 Jews who are going to be supernaturally protected by God right before He pours out His wrath. The wilderness is a reference to Bozrah, which is in modern-day Jordan. Here, the Jewish remnant calls upon the Lord and He personally comes to them and leads them to victory. This may explain why the Antichrist won’t control Jordan in the end times. Daniel 11:41 explicitly says that Edom, Moab and Ammon, the modern nation of Jordan, will not be conquered by the Antichrist. Yet, this shouldn’t be viewed as Jordan helping Israel. Quite the opposite, it appears the Jordanians make a deal with the Antichrist, because God is going to judge them in epic fashion.
While Jesus victoriously leads the Jewish remnant out of Bozrah, Isaiah 63 says He does so with blood-stained garments. That doesn’t bode well for the Jordanian people. Likewise, Isaiah 34 prophesies God’s judgment on Jordan during the Day of the Lord, noting in verse 6 that “the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.” Verse 8 adds, “The Lord has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.” Jordan obviously doesn’t treat the Jewish remnant well. Jeremiah 49 also details this coming judgment, with God promising, “Bozrah will become an object of horror, a reproach, a ruin and a curse; and all its cities will become perpetual ruins.” All told, Jordan will likely betray Israel in the future. Of course, they will pay the price for doing so.
Satanism
Marina Abramović is allegedly a “world-renowned conceptual performance artist.” If the name seems familiar, it’s because Hillary’s 2016 campaign chairman John Podesta was invited by his brother Tony to a “Spirit Cooking dinner” by Marina Abramović. What is spirit cooking? It “often incorporates human elements—particularly blood, breast milk, urine, and sperm—in ritualistic cooking.” That doesn’t sound particularly appetizing. Anyway, Abramović is taking her satanic show on the road. In partnership with Microsoft, some of Abramović’s work “will be presented using a Microsoft HoloLens 2 headset.” It’s being promoted as the “world’s first mixed reality artwork.” Yes, it’s as disturbing as it sounds. In fact, according to Observer, what sets the exhibition apart is that “the surrounding gallery space and visitors will remain visible while you engage with the art—Microsoft’s tech simply allows Abramović to appear.”
Last year, Wired asked “Will Artificial Intelligence Enhance or Hack Humanity?” In response, Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari said that once you link to AI, “what you get is the ability to hack humans.” He explained that hacking, in this context, refers to creating “an algorithm that understands me better than I understand myself, and can therefore manipulate me, enhance me, or replace me.” Let’s be real. The concept of hacking humanity isn’t all that different from demonic possession. In fact, demons don’t just possess humans. They can possess animals and apparently even some inanimate objects, such as idols. Why wouldn’t they be able to possess artificial intelligence? Or, in today’s modern technological terms, why wouldn’t demons be able to hack AI?
What if a demon “hacked” the algorithm? In Revelation 13:15, it says that the image of the beast will be able to speak and it will have the power to kill anyone that doesn’t worship it. That’s right, the image itself will able to kill. Does that sound like some sort of demonic-AI hybrid? Or will people simply wear a virtual reality headset to worship the image of the beast? It’s tough to predict, but one thing is for sure: the technology of the end times is already here.

London = Babylon the Great?
Although it’s been a while, Russia and Britain used to have a serious imperial rivalry. With the United Kingdom officially out of the European Union, the rivalry is about to be renewed. A spokeswoman for Prime Minister Boris Johnson recently remarked, “The prime minister said there will be no normalization of our bilateral relationship until Russia ends the destabilizing activity that threatens the UK and our allies and undermines the safety of our citizens and our collective security.” Translation? We’re back in the game and we’re ready to compete.
Since the height of the Soviet Union, Russian elites have laundered money in London. In the words of The Guardian, “After the second world war, Britain was all but bankrupt, the City of London was somnolent, and economic power rested on Wall Street.” The publication added, “Their salvation came from an unlikely quarter: the Soviet Union, which didn’t want to keep its dollar reserves in US banks.” Things haven’t changed. To this day, Russian oligarchs invest heavily in London. The good times, however, may be coming to an end.
The United States is done being the world’s policeman, which means London and Russia’s financial relationship could become a problem. The British and the Russians were allies against Napoleonic France. They fought together against Germany during the world wars. They secretly undermined the US during the Cold War. Without a common enemy, Russia and Britain are likely to be at odds with each other. They’re going to compete for resources and power.
In 2018, the United Kingdom opened its first permanent military base in the Middle East since the 1970s, strategically located in Bahrain. The British have at least three warships in the Gulf to protect their interests. In 2016, Boris Johnson, now the prime minister, gave a speech titled, “Britain is back East of Suez.” In related news, the British have promised to increase their troop presence in Syria. The UK is going to protect its economic interests in the Middle East, which are particularly important post-Brexit. On the flipside, Russia is trying to make inroads in Africa, having already deployed its military to the Central African Republic and the Republic of Congo. Russian mercenaries are operating in Syria and in Africa. On top of that, the Russians have signed agricultural agreements with Saudi Arabia and are looking to expand their influence in Central Asia.
At the beginning of the end times, Babylon the Great is the dominant global power. The cosmopolitan, international city, known for its extravagant wealth, is going to be an economic powerhouse and a financial center. Consequently, it will rule “over the kings of the earth.” This creates resentment and allows the Antichrist, who will be the ruler of Russia at the time of the end, to lead a coalition of ten rulers that destroys Babylon the Great. After he destroys Babylon the Great, the Antichrist creates his own financial system: the mark of the beast.
That’s all for this week! Thanks for reading and Godspeed!
