The Daniel 11:22 War
Who knew that ultra-Orthodox Jews were so rowdy? In late March, “residents of Jerusalem’s ultra-Orthodox Mea Shearim neighborhood threw rocks at a team of Magen David Adom medics performing a coronavirus test.” That wasn’t all. About a week earlier, in the same neighborhood, “Three people were arrested and fined during clashes with police” over a partial lockdown to stop the spread of the Wuhan virus. As a result, in mid-April, “Israel locked down mainly ultra-Orthodox Jewish areas of Jerusalem.”
The fastest growing segment of Israel’s population is the Haredi community, also known as ultra-Orthodox. Numbers from 2017 indicate that Haredi women have about 7 kids on average. The birth rate for non-Haredi Jewish women is 2.4. That’s a big difference, which means Israel’s population is not only getting more ethnically Jewish, but also more religiously Jewish. According to The Jerusalem Post, “The Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) sector is projected to comprise 16% of the total population by 2030, and Haredim will constitute a third of all citizens and 40% of the Jewish population in 2065.”
Of course, Haredi usually pursue religious studies instead of working. They’re also exempt from national service. In the future, the Israeli economy is going to have a difficult time subsidizing these large Haredi families with proportionally fewer people working and paying taxes. Israelis are divided about the future of the ultra-Orthodox population. Should these full-time Torah students be exempt from national service or not? Should they continue to receive government subsidies? If Israel’s political establishment heads in a more secular direction, expect religious Jews to cling more tightly to their religious traditions. Could this explain the devout 144,000 Jewish men who are protected by God during the end times?
Sheep/Goat nations
Without question, the Wuhan virus panic has demonstrated just how vulnerable global supply chains are, particularly food supply chains. These disruptions have driven Americans to start gardens. In fact, “Some seed companies said they’ve temporarily stopped taking new orders after seeing an overwhelming surge in demand.” Emily Rose Haga, the executive director of the Seed Savers Exchange, wisely observed, “I would say people are worried about their food security right now.” In the long-run, this is a good move. Daniel 11:24 prophesies that the Antichrist will distribute plunder and goods to his followers. Apparently, food shortages will play a role. Jesus said there would be famines during this time and the third seal in Revelation 6:5-6 depicts economic distress. The black horse represents depression and the scales represent rationing. Being prepared for food supply chain disruptions is a prudent course of action. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Satanism
On Good Friday of all days, Microsoft released an ad “for its VR technology featuring Marina Abramović, the performance artist infamous for hosting a “spirit cooking” dinner at her house in 2015, to which Clinton campaign manager Tony Podesta and his brother were invited.” What is spirit cooking? It “often incorporates human elements—particularly blood, breast milk, urine, and sperm—in ritualistic cooking.” Anyway, in partnership with Microsoft, some of Abramović’s work was going to “be presented using a Microsoft HoloLens 2 headset.” It was being promoted as the “world’s first mixed reality artwork.” Yes, it’s as disturbing as it sounds.
Indeed, according to Observer, what sets the exhibition apart is that “the surrounding gallery space and visitors will remain visible while you engage with the art—Microsoft’s tech simply allows Abramović to appear.” Although Microsoft deleted the ad, it’s clear the technology of the end times is already here. In Revelation 13:15, it says that the image of the beast will be able to speak and it will have the power to kill anyone that doesn’t worship it. Will people simply wear a virtual reality headset to worship the image of the beast? It’s certainly within the realm of possibility.
London = Babylon the Great?
According to Stuart Laycock, who has apparently written a book on the subject, Britain has invaded most of the world’s countries. indy100.com noted, “there are only 22 countries which have never been invaded by Britain.” This would mean that “nine out of every ten countries on the planet has been invaded by Britain at some point.” Although there’s some debate about the figures, it’s obvious that Britain has been involved in lots of conflicts over the years. Their imperial exploits are the stuff of legend. The British Empire was the largest, most powerful empire in world history. The legacy of influence that London has had in shaping borders, legal systems, culture, language and economic institutions is remarkable.
Unfortunately, British colonial history featured multiple episodes of nasty behavior, including the East India Company’s hostile takeover of India, the Opium Wars with China and the slave trade in the Americas. Another ugly episode was dividing the land of Israel. In the Balfour Declaration of 1917, the British promised the entire Palestinian Mandate to the Jewish people for a homeland. In 1922, through the Transjordan Memorandum, the British used most of the Palestinian Mandate to create the Arab state of Jordan. That’s right, the British divided the land of Israel. Whenever people speak about pre-1967 borders, they’re talking about the boundaries which the British Empire set. When the Ottoman Empire lost World War I, the British took control of modern-day Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and a good portion of the Arabian Peninsula. The French took control of Syria and Lebanon. Together, France and Britain drew the map of the post-Ottoman Middle East.
In 1916, the French and British negotiated the Sykes–Picot Agreement. It’s also known as the Asia Minor Agreement. This accord divided up the various portions of the Ottoman Empire into areas of British and French control. Following the Ottoman defeat in 1918, Britain and France took administrative control over these specified areas. Although the two powers are no longer in charge of anything in the region, the borders of the modern Middle East still look much the same today.
Well, in 2018, the United Kingdom opened its first permanent military base in the Middle East since the 1970s, strategically located in Bahrain. The British have at least three warships in the Gulf to protect their interests. In 2016, Boris Johnson, now the prime minister, gave a speech titled, “Britain is back East of Suez.” The Brits are back in the Middle East, right as the Americans are leaving the neighborhood. In other words, the number of countries they’ve invaded might be going up soon.
