The Daniel 11:22 War
In the face of Iranian aggression, Israel is working on a non-aggression pact with several Gulf states which, according to The Times of Israel, “aims to put an end to the state of conflict between the Gulf states and Israel, and reportedly provides for friendly relations, cooperation in a variety of fields, and no war or incitement against each other.” Obviously, this would be a significant agreement, but it doesn’t come as a shock. After all, it’s no secret that Israel and their Arab neighbors oppose Iranian attempts to dominate the region. In fact, over the past few years, the Arab countries of the Middle East have warmed up to Israel.
A few months ago, a top Saudi diplomat said, “For us the Saudis, as well as for all the Gulf states, Egypt and Jordan, it is clear that the age of war with Israel has ended and that normalizing relations will only benefit us.” Shortly afterward, Bahrain’s foreign minister publicly acknowledged that “we do believe that Israel is a country to stay, and we want better relations with it, and we want peace with it.” This is significant, because Israel and the Gulf states will eventually join forces to attack the Antichrist in Syria, the Daniel 11:22 War.
Sheep/Goat nations
Recently, the United States approved a deployment of troops and military equipment to Saudi Arabia. This comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is dealing with increased hostility from Iran. Just a few weeks after an attack on Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure, which Iran allegedly carried out, the Iranians are now blaming the Saudis for an attack on one of their oil tankers. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin was in Riyadh this week. The visit was highlighted by an agreement between the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) and Russian sovereign wealth fund RDIF. SALIC is looking to invest in Russian agricultural projects. According to Reuters, the countries “also signed a memorandum on expansion of mutual food exports.” While this cooperation seems like a positive development, the Saudis are inviting disaster.
In Ezekiel 38:13, we learn a little bit about what the Middle East will be like just before the Antichrist invades Jerusalem: “Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoil?’” Sheba and Dedan were historically located very close to Israel. They were sons of Raamah, who was a son of Cush. There’s some debate, but it seems likely that Sheba and Dedan eventually settled in the Arabian Peninsula, probably in the area of modern Saudi Arabia and Yemen.* The Antichrist will rise out of Syria and the Saudis are a part of the group that attacks him and loses. Along with Israel, they will be forced to make a deal with him. When he goes back on his word, all they will be able to say is, “Have you come to take spoil?” Russia has financial reasons for getting involved in the Middle East. Given the Eastern Mediterranean energy boom, the Saudi’s vast oil resources and all the investment capital in the Gulf, the Middle East is the perfect place for plunder.

Satanism
Satanic religious services were set to take place at the US Naval Academy soon, but fortunately, they were prevented. Unfortunately, the reasoning behind the decision was troublesome. Apparently, the group behind the services is “a non-theistic religious and politically active movement.” US military personnel are not permitted to engage with such groups. Put differently, this group’s form of satanism isn’t the real deal. It’s satirical and political, so the Navy chose not to allow it. This raises the question: If people who literally worship Satan and stay out of politics want to have services at the US Naval Academy, would that be allowed? Under the current guidelines, the answer would appear to be yes, which is quite disturbing.
Incidentally, this normalization of satanism is prophetic. The Bible makes it clear that the religious system of the end times will be satanism. Revelation 13:3-4 says the world will worship “the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast” and they’ll worship “the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?’” This isn’t surprising, because the Antichrist’s “coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders.”

London = Babylon the Great?
London has a serious coke habit. King’s College in London analyzed wastewater in major cities across Europe, concluding, “Cocaine is an everyday drug in London.” Shockingly, Londoners use more cocaine than Amsterdam, Berlin and Barcelona combined, the next three cities on the list. Well, if London is Babylon the Great, this is appropriate. Like Revelation 18:23 prophesies, “all the nations” will be deceived by Babylon the Great’s “sorcery.” Did you know that the Greek word the Bible uses for sorcery is pharmakeia? There’s a connection between taking drugs and demonic practices. Despite God’s judgments during the Day of the Lord, those rebellious humans who are still alive will refuse to “repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.” Naturally, the word for sorceries in that passage is pharmakeia. Clearly, there will be lots of drug use in the end times, closely connected with demonic activity and false worship. Babylon the Great is, in part, judged for “corrupting the earth with her immorality.” The city’s sorceries surely play a role in this global corruption.
That’s all for this week! Thanks for reading and Godspeed!
