There is only one human race. Although there aren’t different races, there are different ethnicities, as a result of the judgment at Babel. The creation of different languages split up humanity into smaller groups which then spread throughout the world. The linguistic isolation, and in many cases geographic isolation, led to the rise of unique cultures and the prominence of certain physical characteristics. That’s right, ethnicities are fundamentally different. Needless to say, this creates a lot of friction.
At the moment, Europe is being flooded with different ethnicities. These ethnic groups aren’t assimilating. On top of that, Europeans aren’t having a lot of kids. This combination can only have one outcome: conflict. After all, Europe is the land of gulags, world wars and concentration camps.
It takes a lot for Europeans to renounce civilization and give in to their baser instincts, such as self-preservation at any cost. Years ago, Rudyard Kipling wrote a chilling poem titled, “The wrath of the awakened Saxon.” In it, he observed, “It was not suddenly bred. It will not swiftly abate. Through the chilled years ahead, when time shall count from the date that the Saxon began to hate.” The breaking point is getting close.
Jesus warned that in the end times, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” The word used for nation in this passage is ethnos, from which we get the word ethnicity. The word for kingdom is basileia, which refers to a kingdom or a realm. So while there are going to be conflicts between countries, it appears there will also be ethnic conflicts within nations. On a related note, it’s possible Europe embraces the Antichrist because he crushes Islam. He subjugates the Middle East and conquers Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia. Perhaps that’s why the world is in awe of him and worships him, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?”
