Several months ago, Tucker Carlson said, “Market capitalism is not a religion. Market capitalism is a tool.” He added, “Any economic system that weakens and destroys families isn’t worth having. A system like that is the enemy of a healthy society.” Tucker would like to live in “A country whose leaders don’t accelerate the forces of change purely for their own profit and amusement.” If only their motives were profit and amusement.
In reality, the global political class, bankrolled by transnational financiers and multinational organizations, has turned to corporations to advance its satanic agenda of socially engineering a godless society which can be manipulated, subdued and controlled. This requires destroying anything related to God, including His institutions of gender, marriage and the family. It’s necessary to remake society, but there are limits to the government’s ability to impose social behavior. That’s why the global elites use corporations to preach their message.
Corporations have no problem promoting the globalist agenda because it’s profitable. For example, radical feminism means more women in the workforce, reducing wages. Career women usually have fewer children, which gives corporations a neat excuse to lobby for cheap foreign labor. The political class is eager to help because this decreases cultural homogeneity, further eroding national unity. Without a shared national identity, it’s easier to exploit a country’s resources. It’s also easier to control a nation when it’s at war with itself. That’s why modern corporations are intentionally divisive and actively promote tribalism.
Consider Nike. In 2016, quarterback Colin Kaepernick famously began kneeling during the national anthem because he doesn’t like police officers. It hurt the NFL’s ratings, but in 2018, Nike made Colin Kaepernick one of the faces of their brand. Nike executive Gino Fisanotti explained, “We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation, who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward.” The day Nike revealed the new ad campaign, Nike’s stock fell 3.2%. President Trump amusingly observed, “What was Nike thinking?” Amazingly, Nike doubled down. About a year after signing Kaepernick, Nike pulled a patriotic-themed shoe from production because Kaepernick believes the American flag is a symbol of racism.
If you can separate people from their history, then they’re easier to control. Dark forces want to destroy our heritage as a free, Christian people. They’re starting by removing statues of controversial historical figures, but that’s just the beginning. President Trump recognized this movement, asking, “Are we going to take down statues to George Washington? How about Thomas Jefferson? Are we going to take down his statue because he was a major slave owner.” It won’t stop until every American is forced to disown our heritage and reject our history.
Obviously, Nike’s move to brand the American flag as racist means they’re actively participating in this agenda. Although it may hurt their profits, they seem unconcerned. Even after Arizona Governor Doug Ducey withdrew all financial incentives for Nike to locate in his state, Nike didn’t change its plans. What are Nike executive’s thinking?
Let’s talk about China. Nike’s approach in China has been quite a bit different from its approach in the US. For example, when a Nike-affiliated designer came out in support of the Hong Kong protests against the Chinese government, Nike stopped selling the products he designed. I guess “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything” only applies in America. In other words, Nike is willing to sacrifice profits in the US to promote an agenda, but not in China. Why would they support a totalitarian government, but reward someone for his hatred of law enforcement? That’s a rather contradictory position.
Well, before President Trump, Nike’s manufacturing model was heavily dependent on China. Did you know that 70% of shoes sold in the US come from China? Although Nike has been shifting production to Vietnam to avoid US tariffs, the company still made 26% of its shoes in China in 2018. Yet, Vietnam isn’t the safest bet. When asked if he was going to put tariffs on Vietnam, President Trump responded, “Vietnam is almost the single worst – that’s much smaller than China, much – but it’s almost the single worst abuser of everybody.” About a week later, the US imposed duties of over 400% on Vietnamese steel imports. Tariffs are almost a certainty at this point and Nike made 47% of its shoes in Vietnam in 2018. That’s a problem!
President Trump’s goal is clear: he will force Nike and other companies to manufacture in the US by making it extremely expensive to export their products to the American market. Since the US is the world’s biggest consumer market, Nike is going to have to shift most or all its production to the US to avoid costly tariffs. Maybe that’s why Nike is determined to sow discord in the US through its divisive ad campaigns.
On a related note, a recent Coca-Cola ad campaign that featured homosexual couples sparked outrage in Hungary. This shouldn’t have come as a surprise. According to Pew Research, only 27% of Hungarians support same-sex marriage. In 2011, Hungary adopted a constitution which established marriage as between one man and one woman. With all due respect, Coca-Cola executives aren’t that out-of-touch. They were trying to impose an anti-family agenda. Why would a soft drink company care about attacking the traditional family?
Satan’s plan for your life is simple: curse God and die. Totalitarian governments make it easier for him to make that nightmare a reality. He wants you dead, but first, he wants you to suffer and blame God for it. That’s his entire strategy, neatly summarized in the life of Job. Satan’s biggest obstacles are Christians, healthy families and unified peoples. It’s why Christianity, traditional families and nationalism are under attack.
